With one evening of matches remaining in the Champions League group stage, there are just two places still available in the first knockout round. The draw for the round of 16 will be made in Switzerland on Monday.
Arsenal and Manchester City, the reigning champions, are the two English teams who have made it through their qualifying groups already. Newcastle could yet join them, but must beat AC Milan at home. Even if Newcastle do win, they will not go through if PSG beat or draw with Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United finished bottom of group A, meaning they cannot even drop into the Europa League.
