Back in April, the Los Angeles Rams selected BYU wide receiver Puka Nacua with the 177th pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Eight months later, he set the mark for most receiving yards as a rookie, breaking a 63-year-old record in the process. That wasn’t enough for Nacua, though, as he also caught more passes than any rookie in league history, passing the mark Jaylen Waddle set two years ago in Miami. What’s most impressive is that Nacua’s numbers were not of the empty calorie variety, as he also played a significant role in helping the Rams get back to the postseason following a down year. General manager Les Snead famously does not value picks in the same way most GMs do, so when you find a player of Nacua’s quality that late into the draft, you have to wonder if maybe he is on to something.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. In honor of Nacua’s unprecedented season, we want to see how many of the players with the most receiving yards as a rookie for every NFL franchise you can name in five minutes.
Good luck!
